CHURCH DEPARTMENTS
TOP LADIES DEPARTMENT
It is the unit of the Church in charge of training, growing and developing all ladies in the church in feminine
roles. Our programs take the form of seminars, talk shows and lectures. We are at the forefront of women empowerment. We operate
a small micro finance scheme with the help some agency to help develop our members.
YOUTH DEPARTMENT
We are the backbone of the church. Some call us the future leaders and others the vision bearers. We hold all these
names in high esteem because of the role we perform in the church.
The youth ministry was set up with the primary purpose of mobilizing the youth for training and equipping to take
the mantle of leadership at any time the need arises. Our programs are of seminars, talk shows, in the house discussions and
lectures.
We have a special week every year to celebrate. This is to harness our potential for the development of the church.
We also have a
bi-annual conference dubbed “YOUTH CAMP” which rotate among the church’s major branches. The Accra branch of Temple of Praise Ministries hosted this year’s
event.
After a hard and tiring year the youth settle for their annual dinner dubbed SINGLES NIGHT. This is where we relax
to good gospel music and all that goes into a dinner and awards night. This year’s event will take place on the 27th
of December.
PRAYER BAND DEPARTMENT
This is the Intercessory and Deliverance ministry of the church. The Band exists to safeguard the spiritual growth
of the members of the church.
As an intercessory ministry, the Band is the watchmen over God’s precious resource-His church. We organize
weekly meetings to intercede on behalf of the church. As watchmen we believe we have to prevent the church from being attacked
spiritually by the devil and his cohorts.
As a deliverance ministry, we are there to address the spiritual needs of the members of the church. The Band deals
with cases like demon possession, curses, spiritual manipulations, spiritual marriages and many others.
Our goal is that everybody becomes spiritually liberated to do exploits for God.
The Band exists in all the branches of the church. However, the deliverance ministry has a national team selected
carefully from some of the church’s branches. This group is invited to very major crusade organise by the church.
MUSIC DEPARTMENT
The music department consist of these groups: TOP Choir, Voices of Praise, Praise and Worship Team and the Instrumentalist.
The department
has a peculiar ministry as far as the church is concern. We may be described as “conveyors” to the throne room
of God. We minister to the heart of the people all the time. We are warriors without physical ammunitions. We believe if Israel could sing to bring down the mighty walls of Jericho then, as a ministry we have no excuse not to let God
move among his people all the time for his enemies to scatter.
The music department
has a special week celebration every year with the primary purpose of teaching and ministering in music. This year’s
event was dubbed “School of Worship” and the guest speaker was an international celebrity, Rev. Thomas
Yawson of Harvesters Evangelical Ministries. It was a gathering of worshipers from all over the city irrespective of denomination.
This is held annually in April.
COUNSELLING AND FOLLOW-UP DEPARTMENT
This is the unit in charge of training and growing new comers. This is a department where every member of the church
have ones been a member. All the stages one has to pass through until he or she becomes a ‘leader’ in the church
are under our care.
The department is divided into two. That is counseling and follow-up for converts and other issues of life and
marriage counseling. We are in charge of every marriage ceremony.
USHERING DEPARTMENT
We are the department in charge of the upkeep of the church during every program. This involves sitting arrangements
and order of service. We are in charge of beautification, arrangement and organization of the church premises both during
and after programs.
Most importantly, we are in charge of church service reception. We also serve as protocol officers of the church.
We believe to usher in humility is one of the greatest service you can do for man on behalf of God.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL DEPARTMENT
It is an adult’s school organize every Sunday morning before Sunday’s service begins.
This is a form of
classroom where the leaders of the school do not really teach but only moderate the discussion on topical subjects of the
Bible and the Christian faith. This is a class where you can be assured of in-depth analysis of topics, which is normally
missing in a preaching sermon.
Every church member above the age of 15 is an automatic member of the school.
The school is divided into groups of different kind of languages.
CHILDREN’S DEPARTMENT
As the name implies, it is made up of children in the church but their leaders are adults.
The children’s department organizes a special service for the children every Sunday where
they are thought the basis of the Christian faith. This comes in the form of Bible quotations reciting, poems, drama and many
more.
The children’s department organizes a special week celebration every year to showcase the
talents and the potentials in them. This week is celebrated with drama, sketches, poetry, Bible quotation reciting and many
more.
EVANGELISM TEAM
This is the heartbeat of the church. Our mission on earth will never be complete without evangelism.
As Christians this has been our strongest desire.
This team exists to reach out to the lost with the undiluted word of God –that is preaching
Christ and him crucified.
Beloved, this is our destiny. This is our vision. This is our calling. This
is our mission - to carry the gospel to the unsaved souls. We can’t forfeit this and think that we have succeeded.
